The Cosmetology Esthetician Program

The primary purpose of this cosmetology course is designed for the student wanting to specialize in basic skin care services (facials, related theory and the application of esthetics). The student will be trained in basic manipulative skills, proper work habits to prevent the spread of infections and contagious disease, safety judgments, and desirable attitudes necessary to obtain licensure and for competency in entry-level positions in the esthetician career field. The student will be taught the rules and regulations of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The Cosmetology Esthetician is 750 clock hours and takes approximately seven months in the full time program. The program includes 300 hours of lecture and 450 hours of lab time in the school salon.
Cosmetology Esthetician Courses
Introduction and orientation to the Esthetician program and the school. Students will learn to recognize and incorporate the rules and regulations of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, apply facials and related theory, and utilize the application of esthetics.
